Oh boy!

After leaving The Insider post-voicemail scandal, Pat O' Brien is returning to work.

He landed a job on Fox Sports Radio's Loose Cannons program, which makes sense because O'Brien worked at CBS Sports for 16 years.

Pat said:

"It's going to be fun. A day doesn't go by when someone doesn't ask, 'When are you going back to sports?' This feels like going. I'm grateful for the opportunity. There are second chances in this world, and I'm living proof."

Good for you! Fly straight, honey.

After the official announcement was made this morning on the Entertainment Tonight website that Mary Hart was jumping ship, we were wondering how long it would take the show to announce her replacement.

Last week, rumors were circulating that Mary was getting the axe so that newer, younger, perkier Lara Spencer from The Insider could take her place.

Although the show didn't allegedly give her said axe, sources are still suggesting that Mary is being replaced by Lara! In fact, insiders are reporting that the deal for the switch has been in place for years and that a signed deal was completed months ago.

However, the show has still made no official announcement on who will be Mary's successor.

Guess they're trying to let Mary enjoy the spotlight for a bit!

Whatevs! We see what's going down! Congrats, Lara!

Not the sweetest bitch on the evening entertainment news circuit! Not the most injectable likable face on T.V.!

For over 25 years, Mary Hart has been the anchor of Entertainment Tonight. Her contract is finally seeing it's end this year and it is unclear if she will be renewing or if the show will go another way. The other way would lead producers to Lara Spencer, who recently made the move to El Lay when The Insider packed up it's trail wagon and headed west from Times Square. Insiders on the sister shows say that Spencer wants the gig "badly," but a rep for both said there are no "plans" to change hosts on either show.

Uh-huh, uh-huh. Now, how long before you give up that charade and give a nice swift kick to Mary's Botoxed ass???

Prepare to get an "insider" look at Pat O'Brien.

The former anchor of The Insider is putting his dirty mind to use by penning an upcoming tell-all memoir with Andrew Morton. Among the topics to be covered will be his struggle with alcoholism, his divorce and of course, his "unfortunate scandal."

You remember - He harrassed his co-workers with dirty talk and threats of threesomes!

Sure should be a page turner!

We imagine after this he'll plead for a spot on either Celebrity Apprentice or Rehab, whichever will take him.

That's where all dried up former celebrities go to graze after all!
