by Celebrity-gossip.net on Sep.03, 2010, under Celebrity Gossip

Unwilling to cave into an absurd push-up challenge, Taylor Lautner has ended up reaching an amicable agreement in regards to his lawsuit against an RV dealer.
Stemming from a snafu in which the "Twilight" hunk's customized trailer wasn't delivered by the expected date of June 21, Lautner has accepted a charitable donation to call off legal proceedings against McMahon's RV.
Talking to Us magazine, Lautner's attorney Robert Barta said, "McMahon's RV has agreed to settle its dispute with Taylor Lautner. McMahon's RV will pay $40,000 to Lautner, which Lautner will donate to The Lollipop Theater Network, a children's charity with which he has a long-standing relationship." Barta continued, "The Lollipop Theater Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing movies currently in theaters to children confined to hospitals due to chronic or life-threatening illnesses. The Lollipop Theater Network works with hospitals nationwide, including the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas.?" As for claims that Taylor was suing over emotional distress, insiders tell TMZ that this just wasn't the case - it was about holding McMahon's accountable for their unacceptable business practices. "This was never a suit about money. It was to hold someone accountable," TMZ's source tells. "Taylor never ordered a customized RV -- it was a used RV which needed simple safety-related repairs. There was never any diva behavior. 'Emotional distress' is an automatic checked box on a fraudulent claim."Photo Credit: Getty ImagesKaty Perry: Claridges Cutie

Still situated in the UK, Katy Perry was spotted greeting her adoring fans in London, England on Friday night (September 3).
Following another busy day of promotions, the "California Gurls" singer kindly spent time outside the Claridge's Hotel to sign autographs and pose for pictures before continuing along with her nighttime agenda.
Having released her new album "Teenage Dream" earlier this week, Katy was able to grab the top spot on the sales chart with 192,000 copies sold while "California Gurls" saw 3.6 million downloads. Despite the fact that she had the best numbers, industry experts were surprised by the low totals, as one source said, "I'd like to meet one industry executive last week who thought her album would do under 200,000 units, because I don't think that person exists." The insider adds, "It was a wake-up call for some folks. Some think the sky is falling. Others said, 'Wait a minute, she's a singles artist.' And still others said EMI should have put out the album six weeks ago and it would have sold more."Photo Credit: Wenn.comKara DioGuardi Officially Exits "American Idol"
