According to close friends of the royal couple, Prince William is set to marry his girlfriend of seven years, Kate Middleton by August of next year.

A senior personnel member at the Westminister Abbey, where William's mother Diana was laid to rest, has confirmed that "a date has been earmarked for a royal wedding next year. It is very tentative at the moment but currently the second weekend in August has been mooted."

Other sources say that 2011 will be the perfect time for the two to marry as the Summer Olympics will be held in London in 2012, which would make it virtually impossible for a royal wedding to occur until at least 2013.

Oh come on, William! Don't make her wait!

Sarah Ferguson, the Dutchess of York, is in $8 million of debt. At least one financial adviser is recommending that Fergie file for voluntary bankruptcy.

But the issue has been discussed between the Prime Minister and the Queen, who has said to be "deeply concerned" with the debt.

Sad. We hope she's got a comeback in her.

And we thought showing some nip was bad!

Amy Winehouse and boyfriend Reg Traviss attended the opening of the new African-themed restaurant Shaka Zulu in Camden in north London earlier this week and of course, in classic Wino style, Amy made a fool of herself.

The restaurant's special guest of honor, King of the Zulu Nation, monarch Goodwill Zwelithini, was in attendance to make a 15-minute speech in front of 200 guests.

Not only did Amy show up late AND drunk (of course!), she kept interrupting the speech by making rude remarks and making out with Reg in front of the king and his guests. She then proceeded to fall asleep in Reg's lap before the speech was even over.

A nearby witness said:

"It was embarrassing, Amy was in a state. People were cringing. Before the king arrived she was downing glasses of wine and kissing Reg. She completely insulted the king during the speech and showed no respect."

Reg tried to keep Amy under control, but after he failed, he decided to leave with her out the back door and take a taxi home.

They're related?!

Prince William and his girlfriend Kate Middleton are linked by one of their ancestors and a person that England would love to forget!

Sir Thomas Leighton was a tyrant governor of Guernsey back in the 17th century and he was a very hated man — so much so that historians among others prefer to ignore he ever existed.

But he is William's 12th generation great-grandparent and Kate's 11th, making them 12th cousins, once removed.

Kinda icky — but we think it's far enough removed to where their future children won't come out all wonky!
