Kate Gosselin chops off some inches as she gets a new haircut at Ted Gibson’s hair salon on Wednesday (March 10) in Tribeca, New York.

According to Radaronline, the 34-year-old reality show mom spent 7 hours at the salon before grabbing lunch with her dance partner Tony Dovolani.

Kate is currently getting ready for her big debut on Dancing With The Stars. Other celebrity competitors include figure skater Evan Lysacek, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, and Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger.

Treating herself to a gourmet dinner, Kate Gosselin was spotted hitting up Nobu restaurant in New York City last night (March 10).

Joined by her “Dancing with the Stars” partner Tony Dovolani, the former “Jon and Kate Plus 8” mommy showed off her new shorter ‘bob’ haircut as she strolled past shutterbugs.

According to the Olympic ice skater, his cousin's are neighbors with the Gosselin brood in Pennsylvania. Small world!

So does this mean Johnny is rooting for Kate to take gold on her new dancing gig?

That would be a HELL NO! Johhny totally can't stand her! While at Elton John's Oscar bash this weekend, he explained:

"She was a terror. She was rude to everyone at this charity show, and showed up very late. She's not a film star. She's not a singer. And it's not really acceptable in those cases either, to be a nasty person."

Ouch! Don't hold back, Johnny!

No, really…Keep it coming! We'd love to see her feud with a "John" who isn't 250 lbs worth of wasted space.
