Dick Cheney's lesbian daughter, Mary Cheney, donated money to a Republican Senate candidate from New Hampshire who opposes gay marriage.

According to The Raw Story:

“Cheney gave $500 on April 1 to Kelly Ayotte, a Republican 2010 Senate candidate from New Hampshire, according to the election records database Newsmeat. Ayotte is seeking to fill the seat of retiring GOP Sen. Judd Gregg.”

And this isn't the first time she's done this! Mary has previously supported candidates that oppose gay marriage and same sex couples adopting children.

Despite the constant barrage of right wing bullshit she spouts out on a daily basis, The View co-host is now pretending to support gay marriage!

She says:

"I am not ultra-ultra-conservative on every issue. I actually support gay marriage. I think the gay marriage thing would definitely surprise people. I mean, for some people, it will surprise them to the point that they won’t want to hear it. 'No, that can’t be, I really want to have this sort of idea of her in my head,' so I sort of rain on their parade there. I am a person that does believe that life begins at conception, but I also don’t believe that the government should tell women what to do with their bodies. So I’m torn there in terms of supporting laws [for or against abortion]. I always say I would rather change a heart than a law. I think it has to start there. Always trying to mandate, mandate, mandate this or that is not the way that I believe this country should run."

Judge Vaughn Walker will be ruling TODAY on whether or not same-sex couples will be able to get married in California immediately today!

According to a source:

If Judge Walker lifts the stay, it is likely it will be appealed to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. At the 9th Circuit, it would be reviewed by a 3-person panel and their decision could be appealed to the full 9th Circuit and eventually the US Supreme Court. But because the US Supreme Court is not in session until October, the decision about lifting the stay would be appealed to the Justice in charge, which for the 9th Circuit is Justice Kennedy. We are witnessing history and it is crucial that as we continue to move through the courts, we must build support with the court of public opinion and provide a human face to this issue.

Vaughn has announced that he will make his decision by noon PST today!
