Roger Ebert has penned a cookbook even though he can no longer eat after losing his lower jaw to cancer 4 years ago.
Roger says of his new book, The Pot and How to Use It: The Mystery and Romance of the Rice Cooker:
"It's all experience, my visuals and friendly tasters. I've used The Pot so very many times I know what everything I make in it MUST taste like. I am a quick, direct, practical and simple cook, which is why the rice cooker had such an appeal to me…
"Food for me is in the present tense. Eating for me is now only in the past tense. I can remember the taste and smell of everything, even though I can no longer taste or smell."
We love his positive attitude and outlook on life!

Check out this amazing video of Australian X Factor costestant Karl Dimachki.
He was diagnosed with tongue cancer about 16 months ago, had half his tongue taken out, cancer spots shaved from his voice box and a number of lymph nodes removed.
He was also told that he would never sing again.

Catherine Zeta Jones Furious With Doctors For Missing Douglas’ Throat Cancer

It seems Catherine Zeta-Jones is furious with doctors who were late to diagnose Michael Douglas' throat cancer.
He has been complaining of constant ear and throat pain, but his tumor was not discovered until just three weeks ago.
Catherine said:
"It makes me furious they didn't detect it earlier. He sought every option and nothing was found. It wasn't a huge shock. I knew something was up. He knew something was up."
The cancer is currently at stage four.
We're pulling for him.

Michael Douglas Bravely Fighting Cancer, Copes With Treatment

After a cancerous tumor was found at the base of his tongue, Michael Douglas has been undergoing radiation and chemotherapy to combat the disease.
"It's a fight," he said "It really knocks you out."
The once tireless actor has been extremely tired and the effects are evident to his wife and children.
"The hardest part is seeing his fatigue, because Michael is never tired," said his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones. "Daddy sat them down and told them he has cancer now…if there's anything Michael has, it's strength."
