Brad Pitt will lend his voice to a documentary about the New Orleans Saints’ win in Super Bowl XLIV.

The 46-year-old actor will narrate America’s Game on the NFL Network on September 8, according to USA Today.

Over the weekend, Brad checked up on the progress of some new homes in New Orleans during the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.

His organization, Make It Right, set up an eco-housing project in the Big Easy.

People magazine was so confident their Elin Nordegren issue would be a big seller that they raised the price and printed more copies which they haven't done since the debut of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's twins back in August 2008!

An insider reveals:

"Everyone at People will be popping the champagne this morning. Early numbers show that Elin sold around 2 million copies, way up from its average of 1.4 million, yet not quite the 2.5 million Angelina sold."

But the Elin issue was ultimately more profitable because she opened up to the mag for free whereas Ange and Brad got paid $12 million!

A friend of Elin's says:

"This wasn't about the money for Elin. It was about telling her story once and for all. She will be happy that so many people bought the issue and finally read the truth. But now she hopes they all go away and leave her and her family alone. The last thing in the world Elin wanted to be was a celebrity."

But she's on the cover of a best-selling issue of People so we think it's a safe bet that she IS a celebrity — at least for now!

Brad Pitt sounds like he's genuinely fallen in love with the city of New Orleans! He shared some of the things he's come to like about the city since getting involved in helping the community after Hurricane Katrina.

"We used to eat a lot at the Verti Marte," Pitt tells the Times-Picayune. "A little bitty market with great shrimp po-boys that I couldn't get enough of. It recently had a fire problem. But after that, we like Irene's a lot. Antoine's and the Windsor Court. There are so many. But in general, shrimp po-boys. I order them everywhere."

Po-boys are some great sandwiches :) More than that, though, the actor seems to enjoy being part of the community.

"In New Orleans, the people are great," he says. "We can just live and breathe and ride bikes. We can take our kids on bike rides, and local people just give us a shout-out – and let us move on. ... Everybody treats us like neighbors."

He also said he liked the music and, of course, the New Orleans' Saints football team :)
